To expand our logistics team, we are looking for an assistant warehouse manager. As assistant warehouse manager, together with one other colleague, you are responsible for managing the warehouse and you supervise the warehouse employees. You are also responsible for quality control, storage, order picking and distribution of goods. Keeping an overview is one of the more important tasks in your job. As a warehouse manager, you also take care of the administrative handling of the inbound and outbound goods flow, you are responsible for stock management and you are the point of contact for the warehouse employees and planners.
Work is from 7.30am - 4.30pm, but during peak periods, overtime and/or weekend work is common.
You have demonstrable work experience in a similar position, whether or not gained in another industry. In addition, you can manage and motivate a team. Furthermore, you are technically gifted and able to plan and supervise a logical execution of activities.
You are flexible and it is therefore no problem for you to work overtime during peak periods.
In addition, you are accurate, work independently, solution-oriented and have a positive attitude.
